You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!
Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Always a pleasure coming to this location! Great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, best place to go for cannabis in all of downtown! Great selection and prices that can't be beat!
I had a terrible experience over the weekend. The sales associate was rude and refused to answer questions. He just kept saying, "I don't know" to everything. He seemed very put out being asked for help. Then, I wanted to buy a product at Market Price, but I was informed I had to have an "elite" membership. At this point, I was so annoyed I left. I found everything I needed a few blocks away.
In a market that is oversaturated with cannabis stores, you need to revamp your business model and hire staff who are capable of being courteous and helpful.
Several other people in the store were also refused items that were under the "elite" membership - which is pointless because there are so many other cannabis stores nearby that sell the same products. I won't be back. I don't need to be treated like spending my hard-earned money is some sort of privilege.
Edit: and the response from the business that didn't address anything about my review is one more reason to never come back. Walk five blocks in any direction from this store and there is another cannabis store, with better customer service. Thanks for the AI generated response.
I walked in looking to buy some concentrate but I needed to purchase a dab tool. The sales attendant (who I had never seen working there before) was not only abrupt and rude, he answered every one of my questions with "I literally have no idea". He also wouldn't sell me the dab tool because I was told I needed to buy their $35 elite membership first. He wouldn't even sell it to me at the comparable advertised "market price". Seems like a pretty stupid business plan to gate keep some of the items you actually need to be able to use their other products. The blame for that I'm placing on the company. It's so off putting. I'm not even sure if refusing to sell you a product because you're not considered "elite" is even legal but either way they lost the sale of both the dab tool and the concentrate. Value Buds was happy to make the sale though.
The couple ahead of us was also refused a product behind the elite curtain. lol. I just don't get it.
I've been here before and the another staff is usually pretty good and the prices are generally decent. This is the first time I've been refused products because I didn't have a membership. This will now be my "last resort" store.
Not going to this store again unless they fire that girl idk her name but she was telling me have some manners lol
While i was asking calmly that if it's my turn to get asked what i want in the store.
Had good friends there but lady brown skin(cause i don't know her name I'm not racist) was overreacting to much
The first time I went to this place I had an awesome customer service, I did the membership and leave the store really happy thinking of coming back. But today, I had a bad experience with the long hair guy, and I'm really thinking if I should come back. You should be kind with your customers and give them reasons of why you're doing something. It's sad because that's the closest store for me, and the first worker I met was really nice.
