My Experience at Rock Island Cannabis
The woman who works there has some of the worst customer service vibes I've ever experienced. She acts like you are inconveniencing her simply by walking into the store, asking a question, or needing help. She's been rude, snarky, dismissive, used foul language, and has laughed in my face on more than one occasion.
The menu board is so crammed with tiny, jumbled writing that I was literally squinting, trying to read it. Instead of helping me, she laughed at me for squinting. Seriously?
And I'm a long-time cannabis user. I've asked perfectly reasonable questions about products and, at times, honestly felt like I knew more about cannabis than the lady answering me.
Maybe she's been wonderful to some people. Great. But after my experiences, I have to wonder if you need to be part of the right little circle to get that version of her.
I've also seen the responses surrounding the recent senior incident, and while I wasn't personally there, knowing how I've been spoken to and treated in that store, I can't say I'm completely shocked by what I've heard. If the son's anything like the mother, I can honestly see the senior incident happening.
I'm not saying everyone will have my experience. I'm saying this has been my experience, repeatedly, and I'm done pretending it's acceptable just because other people have left positive reviews.

The couple who owns this store are absolutely phenomenal people! Beautiful store , great product with awesome pricing and more amazing with people than many places I've been . Always a pleasure coming in !
Ps ! Go check out their aloe plants ! I can promise you've not seen anything like them 😊

Always have what I need! Awesome store awesome staff! I always leave with a smile or a chuckle because I am who I am and they are too! Anyone that says otherwise probably is smokin more than just weed…🫶😘
Friendly little weed store in Alberta Beach. Was busy when I went in. Good to see a community like this thriving.
