We are a local cannabis retail store in Brechin, Ontario, the gateway to cottage country and a place to unwind and relax. My partner and I decided to stop in for the first time on September 24, 2025 9:50 PM. With this being our first visit to the store, we were unaware of the rules. There are signs posted on the door to ring a doorbell to be let in . I proceeded to ring the doorbell. I was greeted by the bud tender . I didn't get his name however I would like to point out the complete lack of customer service skills. His arrogance and egotistic attitude was extremely unwelcoming. All I wanted to do was finish the cigarette that I was smoking outside of the store before I entered the store The Bud tender proceeded into my personal space showing me away from the door while walking towards me telling me to keep backing up 10 feet away from the wooden stairs of the door in a very gestapo like manor. I finished my cigarette and had to re-ring the doorbell to be admitted at which time I was met with another rude response by the power, tripping bud, tender Who was quite adamant on letting us know that only he lets people in and out of the store don't dare pull on that door. Once inside my partner inquired about price matching the arrogant bud tender seemed proud to not offer price matching. That was pretty much our whole experience. I told him I would take my business elsewhere and that he should really learn some Customer Service skills and not be so arrogant to new customers, I was prepared to spend a lot of money in that store considering I'm a Navid smoker of 30+ years and usuall ..
