You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!

Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.

Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!

After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).

Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

We enjoyed shopping here and always made a special trip to see your Bud tender Johnny only the past few trips have been disappointing because our fave was not working and the utter rudeness of your staff! Yesterday after a 30 min wait we finally were granted access luckily at 60 I had my id and was allowed in. My partner on the other hand had to go back to the car to get his. upon his returned they told him to wait again and kicked him out???? When I expressed he was with me and we already waited 1/2 hour ( only 1 customer in the store and 2 x staff) we were escorted out of the store Your poor customer service has lost you 2 long time loyal customers And if there was a way to get refunded for the membership we would!! Shame on you!

Im a regular here for over 2 years, I have been a smoker for over 15 years, the confidence in opinion of the staff opposed to the customers opinion was off putting. "quiet and comfy atmosphere" turned into an awkward and uncomfortable one, very quickly. I had shown an interest in there "elite program". But I had decided it wasnt for me. After stating I didnt want it anymore, I felt very pushed into it. I tried to make it clear I was no longer interested in that time. But I was told I was "right but I was also wrong". You never tell a customer they are wrong. I buy the same thing every time because I know it works for me. If you care about the customers, listen and dont argue. I ended up buying something different that I didnt like. I wont be returning for a while until I cool off from the situation. Not cool.

Wish I could give a better review, but was denied entry without ID. My husband is 50 and I am 42. Never have we been turned away because we didn't show ID in any other place. What a joke !
