Bud Bar in the Crowfoot Square strip mall might have the best-built-in solution to the munchies in the city. Pizza, sushi, breakfast bistro and pie shop are all just steps away, making the location almost suspiciously convenient.
Beyond that, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to help. It's a great local shop with a welcoming atmosphere, solid selection, and consistently excellent service. Highly recommended when you're in the area.
Stopped by Bud Bar on a Sunday with a very specific case of the Sunday Fundays, and Emily absolutely understood the assignment.
Not only did she immediately get what I was looking for, but she somehow managed to exceed expectations and send me on my way with exactly the right picks. Friendly, knowledgeable, zero pressure, and somehow made the whole experience feel like shopping with your coolest friend.
