| TLDR: The assistant manager is blatantly homophobic, don't shop here if you care about that kinda thing/are gay lol
I just went in to buy something for my boyfriend and had the worst time, never coming back! Was being helped by an employee, wanted to set up an account and casually mentioned "aw it's a shame I probably can't use my boyfriend's information for the account since he's not here, right? I'm buying for him" when the assistant manager popped out from the back and took on a very weird agressive tone with me, going "you can't do that. You can't buy for your Friend but if you want to get something for your Friend this one time we'll let you" So I guess I appreciate the bending of this supposed rule but I've never had this experience anywhere before so I doubt this is even a law (because truly if I'm buying for my boyfriend and he's a minor you should be calling the cops for a different reason lol) but even if it is a legitimate law or policy, I was so uncomfortable and felt legitimately unsafe with the way she spoke to me after I made it clear I was gay. Again, I do this all the time, no budtender or manager has every spoken to me like that before. If it were up to me, she'd lose her job. 0/0 wouldn't recommend this location to anyone |
