Tried inquiring over the phone about whether or not they stock seeds. They told me they aren't allowed to disclose that information over the phone. I would have to come in. I found a website online after that alleges it carries a selection of their items. It didn't have a matching domain name for their business so I didn't know if it's useful information. Knowing they can't tell me about their stock, I called again to ask if their website is at all accurate, if I could expect any of the items online to be in the store when I go there or if it's actually even managed by the store themselves. They refused to give me any information and told me I would have to come in. I told them I live in La Crete so I don't want to drive to high level (110km away) to find out they don't have what I'm looking for. If they can't tell me anything useful over the phone, the least they can do is have a decent website that informs users that what they're looking for is in stock.
For products carried by them as well as by Grandpa's finest in Fort Vermilion, I've noticed in store that the prices are much higher for certain items. The packs of milled flower for example are $3-$8 more for items in the $20-$30 range. The store's management policies in these aspects has given me a terrible experience overall and a feeling that there's no value in the customers that visit. It's not convenient, and from what I've experienced, it's far overpriced compared to Grampas finest. So not much point in an .. |
