| ⭐☆☆☆☆ — NOTICE OF COMMUNITY HARM, PUBLIC SAFETY FAILURE, AND OPERATIONAL UNSUITABILITY I am a long-term resident of this neighborhood, having lived here for over twenty years. In that time, I have witnessed businesses arrive, integrate, and contribute positively to the fabric of the community. Value Buds is not one of them. This dispensary has demonstrably failed to operate in a manner compatible with the safety, stability, and well-being of the surrounding residential community. Rather than contributing to neighborhood cohesion, its presence has coincided with a sustained increase in disorder, loitering, and a pervasive sense of insecurity for residents. These are not abstract concerns; they materially affect how safe people feel moving through and living in their own neighborhood. For residents managing mental health conditions, including myself, this environment has had serious consequences. Repeated expressions of concern, requests for mitigation, and appeals for reasonable accommodation under the Mental Health Act have been met with indifference or superficial gestures that fail to address the underlying harm. Warnings and assurances without meaningful operational change are not corrective action, they are negligence. A business operating legally is still obligated to operate responsibly.
