Canna Cabana Lacombe, Lacombe AB
Normally myself and my family have a good experience in this and other Canna Cabana locations, however I will not be returning to the Lacombe store. The store was clean and open, and I was ID'd as expected. My issue is with the service received by the older staff member on shift, who-after being asked for a flavourful and fruity preroll- told me "it all tastes like weed to me". I know people experience strains' flavor profiles differently from one another, and what's fruity to one may be herbal or even skunky to another. But in the years I spent in the service side of the cannabis industry, I never left a customer hanging when asked for something with a specific need/flavor. Producers have websites with or give dispensaries desriptions of the flavors found in the product, and if I didnt try something I always made sure to ask a customer/coworker who had what they tasted and experienced so I did not leave a customer feeling dismissed or unassisted. Not to mention, once I found a preroll that may have fit my needs, I was informed that it was only available to paying Elite Members. The Elite Membership offering products at a discounted price is fine, IF others outside the program were able to still buy the products at regular price. The representative was following the rules of the membership and AGLC standards which is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. It was a dissmissive and disheartening experience.
