Value Buds: Where the Prices are Low and the Selection is... Existential.
I recently ventured into the promised land of savings, otherwise known as Value Buds, and I must say, the name delivers exactly what it promises—value, and lots of buds. It's like the Costco of cannabis, if Costco only sold three types of industrial-sized peanuts and a mountain of discounted plastic wrap.
Walking in, the vibe is less "boutique artisanal dispensary" and more "efficient, brightly lit tax office that happens to sell psychoactive herbs." There's no fancy mood lighting, no velvet ropes, and definitely no spiritual guides trying to sell you a $60 single pre-roll rolled by monks on a mountainside. And that is *exactly* the charm.
The staff are genuinely wonderful—helpful, knowledgeable, and they manage to navigate the constant rotation of "What's the cheapest thing you've got?" with grace. My budtender, bless their heart, patiently walked me through their current ten-ton inventory, which consisted mainly of things with names like "Budget Blast" and "Economy Kush."
The real star, of course, is the pricing. The prices here are so low, I briefly checked my reflection to make sure I wasn't accidentally wearing a disguise and working undercover for the IRS. It's fantastic if you know exactly what you want and that want is to pay the absolute bare minimum required by law.

Disappointed by Recent Price Hikes
I've been a loyal customer for a while and even purchased the premium membership for an extra $35 to save on products. However, I was extremely disappointed on my last visit.
I went in today to restock and buy a new vape, but I noticed the prices have dramatically increased. I'm talking about a $20 to $100 jump on various products, especially on all the flower. This feels redundant now that the membership doesn't even make a significant difference.
While the staff has always been friendly and helpful, these sudden price increases are a major letdown. It's frustrating to feel like the value I once relied on is no longer there. I hope the pricing issue is addressed, as it's making me reconsider where I shop in the future.
