| EDIT (1/27/26): My main concern is not necessarily the company's "intention" with my private data as much as the fact that most of these Ring cameras and other IP cams you can buy from Amazon are insecure and publicly accessible on the Internet (see Google for "IP cams publicly accessible" or "ring cams open access"). ORIGINAL: Could not enter store, new "security" feature past 6 prevents customers from entering unless they display their id directly to an Internet doorbell camera ran by a proprietary company. Tried to make a concession with the lady who answered, that I'd display it to her in store, or outside the building stepping back from the door, or anything else other than have my identity potentially stolen by my data going God knows where. Was only met with a brief and rude interaction by said lady who pretended to not hear me or have connection issues and hang up—she equated identity theft to being reprimanded by this company that does not have the security of its customers in mind. For reference, this is one of the nicer areas in the city, and they likely lost their only sale of the last hour. I don't think this is a good move for a company as large as Canna Cabana and I sincerely hope they reconsider whatever pittance kickback they're getting for data collection over loss in sales. | Very personalized experience, nice to have something walking distance in the area. Selection is limited for now but you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into what items people would like. Never tried the Zombie Death F*# but got it on recommendation, 10/10! Look forward to seeing what's in store next | ||
