I preordered product ahead of time specifically to avoid issues like this, only to arrive and be told it had already been sold to someone else. There was no call, text, or notification before pickup, which was frustrating and a waste of my time.
If you're offering preorders, inventory should be held or customers should be notified immediately if there's a problem. Experiences like this are exactly why it's worth the extra drive to St. Thomas, ON to get reliable inventory and quality customer service instead. This was disappointing, and I'd think twice before relying on a preorder here again.
Update: Owner reached out and gave a better explanation of what happened and how it wouldn't happen again. Faith in humanity restored.
