| Made a pit stop here to grab a couple chocolates while riding shotty on our way from the coast north. I am a darker skinned woman, and the older white woman working asked me if I was from the Esso down the street. I said that I was just making my way from the coast up north. She then said "oh, I wasn't sure if maybe you were another one they brought in and I just hadn't met you yet" I realize it is a small town so she could recognize that I was not a local but maybe they need to do some DEI training here. Based on that experience and how upsetting it was I would not recommend, and I will not return. | ||
