Usually, this store is very close to my house, but after today, I will never go back there again. The guy working today — a tall white man with a long beard (I didn't get his name) — was extremely unprofessional and rude to me and my husband.
I went in to buy a pre-roll joint, and he immediately showed me the most expensive one, even though I didn't ask for it. When I asked if I could read the package description, he literally grabbed it from my hand and didn't let me read it. Do I look like someone who would snatch it and run out of the store? That behavior was completely disrespectful and unprofessional.
As a customer, I have every right to read the product description before purchasing. After looking around, I finally found something and bought it — but he didn't even tell me it wasn't the one I was asking for. Not even a minute later, we went back to the store to exchange it for the correct one, but he kept saying he was "confused" about what I meant earlier. Then he rudely told us that, according to Manitoba law, they can't exchange cannabis products.
If he's so strict about the rules, he should also know that it's mandatory to check photo ID before selling cannabis — which he didn't do. (The authorities can easily check the cameras if needed; we visited the store on Sunday, November 9th, around 4:10–4:15 p.m.)
