Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Chelsea and Taylor were working when I went inside to buy some accessories. I was pretty lost and wasn't too sure on what I needed to get and had many questions. They were both very helpful with answering all of my questions I had, showing me products to see which ones I'd like and setting me up with everything I needed. I really appreciate them and this store for helping me when I looked clearly lost.
Quality prices and product, a friendly and helpful staff, but unfortunately It suffers from high staff turnover, an absentee landlord situation where the property is owned or leased by a larger Investment Group that doesn't really seem to care the user experience because cannabis sells itself. The storefront is immaculate but you can tell that the owners haven't been there in a very very long time. The originally intended to convert the space into a sort of cannabis-themed Starbucks which resembles a Hollister store from the 2000s. The staff are patient, friendly and competent each time I visit. Although they do not not have a reliable inventory system that connects online customers to the store reliably, which causes confusion for many customers because there doesn't seem to be any way for the staff to know whether or not to put an order aside when an order is made online. They also seem to be trying to waste money on self-checkout technology which is not functional and has served as another screen with advertisements. In my opinion the ownership it's not really invested in the business and see it as a kind of TurnKey operation where they can just set it and forget it. I've never once seen a manager in the store while I'm there and given the high turnover rate at the store you would notice them. Avoid the elite membership at all costs. Upgrading your account has no real benefits and you'll be saving yourself money in the long run.

amazing place. great price, great selection and even better staff. personally i'd like to highlight ari. she is wonderfully helpful, extremely friendly and curates guest experiences to their individual preferences. definitely someone you would want at the helm.
I started shopping here because of great deals and prices were good.
I've walked into this store a total of 5 times.
All 5 times my account information is messed up and they were the ones to set it up.
They Consistently blame the computer for misinformation about products and mistakes in profile.
4 times I've ordered off the website, paid online and when picking up the products in store they were sold out of at least one of the items. I checked online and I could still order the product even though staff said otherwise.
I have never found the staff there to be knowledgeable. They typically don't know about any of their products. Also, having 2 staff and a 30min line only to be told what you bought online and here to pickup is sold out.
When ordering an infused joint with 50% THC and a product of a different name , brand and THC of 35% is wrung up, I spoke up and said "this isn't what I ordered". The dude said this is the closest thing to what you ordered, we don't actually have what you ordered. I then asked, " was anyone goning to tell me that I'm overpaying for a product I don't even want and trying to slip it past me?"
Dude shrugged and walked out.
Not to mention I've heard an employee yell from the back and walk out in the middle of a shift due to lack of management. Which makes sense considering nothing is ever actually managed there and when there is an issue employees blame it on the company computer.
Not worth your time, money or headaches this place ..
