You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!
Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!
Want to check out a new vape, chat about cannabis, and grab some rollies? Roll on in to your local Cabana, then keep on rolling.

Good shop - the staff are great! Very knowledgeable. Different setup than other cannas in the region, quick service, always in and out quick. Always have a recommendation if what I want isn't in stock, I enjoy visiting this location for sure!
Was physically assaulted by a staff member while shopping for cbd - Tall, gaunt white person with round glasses, longer hair pulled back into a ponytail, and a weird high but also husky smokers voice. Being detailed so people can watch out for them. They yelled at me in front of other customers and hit me, leaving a large bruise. I came into the store with my ID out, but I didn't wait at the door because the gate was down and they lost it. Shorter Indian staff was very kind and seemed super embarrassed of her. Messaged the store, but didn't hear back and it's been a week. Parking lots always full from cobs, while this store is always empty anyways. I would not recommend going to this store. ** I was banned from the store after posting this. No response or apology.
I'm highly impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is here! Gupta is an expert when it comes to his bud recommendations 😎 The staff really know how to make very visit feel like a joint celebration 💚
Called in to find CBD products, had to ask repeatedly for the actual CBD:THC amounts in the three products she mentioned. Unnecessarily difficult to get a clear answer to a repeatedly clear direct question, and got a weird attitude when I had to keep asking for actual details. Yes, I understand that there are low or trace amounts of THC in the products. As I explained, I'm looking for an essentially CBD-only product, understanding (very well, I'm not a noob here) that there are trace or negligible amounts of THC.
I have been an Elite member of Canna Cabana, 1270 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener for maybe 1 or 2 years now. There are some staff members here who speak the same language as me, like Gujarati, and I usually have no issues discussing my purchases with them. However, during my last visit, while I was discussing my purchase with one of these guys, Taylor, a girl working there, suddenly jumped into the conversation reacting negatively to the confusion I had with the other guy. She spoke to me in a way that made me look bad and disrespected me in front of others. The other guy was fine answering my questions with no problem.
I did not like the way Taylor talked to me. I am paying for these products, not getting them for free, and I expect respect every time I visit the store. What surprised me even more was that she seemed bothered that my friend and I were speaking Gujarati instead of English in Canada. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a professional service environment. I hope the management addresses this issue because paying customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of the language they speak.
