Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I've been coming here for at least a year now and I believe there's never been a truly bad experience ... until today.
While I was picking out what I wanted to buy, I get asked if I was a member. I thought it was an odd question since we weren't at the cash register yet so I thought nothing else of it and said yes. When I go to pay, I pass over my number so that I could get the member price. After a few moments I get told I'm not an Elite member, and would I like to sign up/continue getting the membership pricing. I was a little stunned for a moment as this was the first time I've heard of this. I'm told the membership is $35/year, and since you're here often it would save a lot of money. I left paying the full price for the product and said no to the upgrade.
Out of curiosity, I went to have a look on their website to see when they started this new program, wanting to know more about it. Come to find something shocking. The elite membership only includes flash sales, giveaways, and such.. the free membership with member pricing STILL EXISTS. I was told the only way to get the membership pricing was to pay for the new upgrade. If I didn't sign up then I would have to pay the regular retail price.
I was point-blank lied to. I'm a member and someone tried to scam me into signing up for a paid membership.
You have now lost a loyal customer and my friends and I will never be returning.
So, I used to be able to get the "Member Price" by just having an account which required a phone number and email. Now you have to pay for a membership? For the "privilege" of shopping there? Yeah I don't think so. Won't be going to any of these stores anymore. Also don't apply to work there. I have applied twice and each time I get spam calls immediately after applying, so it appears someone is selling people's info. Good luck tanking your business.

I've been coming here ever since the place opened and I've loved it. Everyone always ask me how I get such great prices and where do I go? I always tell them the same place cabana on March Road because I love the people the products. I'm not an elite member, but I still love the prices… I went in about a week ago with a friend, Got our IDs and everything ready. now this is the second time I'm in this week And keep this in mind as I was in previously and the same employee, whoever it may be was the one to watch over me that day and check me out. I will say that, that experience on its own was not the best but I did not feel like it was worth writing a review. People have off days and I get it. Especially in retail I've been there so I didn't feel the need to read review it did bother me a lot however but that's not why I'm writing this. A few days later, when I was with my friend, we came in and the same employee who helped me for starters quite aggressively, or should I say snatched the ID out of my hand And brought it up near my face to compare… He did this for about 30 seconds now. I understand that he's doing his job. No harm no I just felt that it was a bit aggressive as he then started to question my information… But he was doing his job so I'm not even writing the review about this. He asks if we need any help I said thank you however, I will let him know when I'm ready to check out, I find what I'm looking for and I'm ready to check out and he looks at me. I ..
