When asking for my ID there was a minor verbal misunderstanding. They wanted my ID out of my wallet rather than just being shown through the clear plastic window in my wallet. I thought they wanted me to take out my 2nd ID piece. Had the employee raise their voice and get quite sassy with me. This type of immaturity is completely uncalled for. I came to the shop about 5 minutes before closing time, not on purpose, just a coincidence. At one point they mentioned that there is only 3 minutes left and were in general quite unwelcoming. I think that this led the employee to feel justified in their actions. This was about 2 weeks ago.

I have been coming here for 6 months and every time, staff are so friendly and helpful, especially for a shopper like me who is always looking for suggestions and to try something new. They've never steered me wrong, and always provide great information about the products they're suggesting! Madison in particular is lovely and so helpful. Bonus: they give my dog a treat when I bring her with me. Safe to say she loves Fire & Flower just as much as I do. Thank you!

Walked in for the first time ever. No one at the counter. Music blasting. Smelled like someone was smoking up in the back. A very annoyed looking young girl came out and acted bothered by my presence. After spending 5 min having her vaguely explain the different types of pre-rolls to me, I go to pay and she asked me for ID. I am nearly 45 yrs old. I explained I'd have to walk ten min home then back again. She looked at me, smiled and said "okay, I'll put it aside for you. See you soon" in the most condescending way. Bad customer service. I decided to walk a couple blocks up the street to Muse, who has never asked me for ID (I think they realize I'm not under 19), and came to find out, the exact same product was nearly $5 cheaper at Muse. First time at Fire & Flower... definitely my last.
