Denied a return on a malfunctioning vape, they proceeded to blame the aglc for needing the plastic packaging it came with.
I consulted multiple other stores and was told this is blatantly false.
Used to buy here on a weekly basis, now I'll never return
Recently I was in trying to buy vortex black Afghan hash which they added to their elite members items. Now to buy this product which I've been buying for months I would have to purchase a 35$ membership to purchase it. This is against the rules in the aglc retailers handbook ( 6.2.7 and 6.2.8 ) explain it quite clearly that they can not stop me from purchasing a product without paying for a membership, I will be in contact with aglc about this situation and I will not be milked having to purchase a membership to continue buying a product I like !!!!!! Angry customer!!!!!!
Absolutely ridiculous service. I showed my legal, government issued divers license and they wouldn't serve me. I'm almost 25. TRANS PEOPLE BEWARE. if you don't look exactly like your photo, they won't serve you. I felt completely disrespected, even after my name matched the ID on my bank card. I shouldn't have to have a second piece of ID on me to be served when I'm well over the age of 18. They have no regard for people who have started their transition since updating their drivers license. DO NOT SHOP HERE
I have no issues, literally none, with being ID'ed - I understand it's the law and what staff must do. I have no issues with my friend having to leave because they forgot their's. What I do take issue with is that we were the only ones ID'ed, alongside a disabled person in a wheelchair. Every other dude who entered was not asked to show ID - just us younger looking femme folks and a disabled person (I also had my cane with me, as I am also disabled).
If every person needs to be ID'ed, then every person needs to be ID'ed - not IDing dudes, but then only IDing us and visibly disabled people is a form of discrimination.
Further, there was an elderly gentleman running the till, and it was very clear to us that he needed more training and supports - and instead, the other person continued to focus on inventory before hopping on the other till (while we went ahead and did two returns because of a computer/SKU issue).
I have no issues when there is a genuine problem in the system, and no issues with the older gentleman himself - but some staff need additional supports and training, and he was not receiving that.
We won't be back again.
Quick service. Good suggestions. Not to keen about the ultimate membership but. They are usually cheaper that anywhere else.
