Myrcene (Musk Citrus) is the most common and abundant terpene found in cannabis. It's also found in mango, with a flavour profile that's a mix of citrus and musk (eating a mango 45 min. before smoking will increase THC effect). Myrcene has been known for its sedative properties and may be part of the reason cannabis has been used for pain management and is usually recommended as a supplement during cancer treatments.
Linalool (Floral Spice) is found in lavender and is most responsible for the recognizable marijuana smell. The rich floral scent with just a taste of spice makes it a popular choice for aromatherapy, especially as a scent that helps with sleep and relaxation.
Pinene (Pine Sweet) smells like pine trees, with a hint of rosemary. A relatively common terpene also found in rosemary, orange peels, basil and parsley. It has been studied for a variety of positive effects, including helping with focus and respiratory inflammation.
Guaiol (Pine Woody) is commonly found in cypress pine and boasts a piney aroma with woodsy and rosy undertones. With its antibacterial and antioxidant properties, it is being studied as a possible agent to inhibit growth in lung cancer cells.
Terpenes are fragrant oils naturally secreted in cannabis, including other plants, fruits and herbs. They are the organic compounds that give each strain of cannabis its unique aroma, flavour and effects. These oils have been used for centuries in medicine, natural remedies and food. Warning to all potential customers do not dismiss the negative reviews. Currently filing a consumer protection claim due to unfair practices. As a client of 6 years I'm saddened by the horrible customer service at Spectrum for its medical clients. Changed my address on my account without notifying me my order gets shipped to my old house. Told me I'd get my order replaced, destroyed the product when returned and kept my money. Said it was my fault for not double checking. Will be changing providers.

I have been a cancer patient, buying my cannabis requirements from four licensed distributors in Canada - and Spectrum Therapeutics (part of Canopy Growth) for the past 3 years. I have purchased 57 orders in that timeframe but had a very bad experience regarding my last purchase. I sent a complaint to Spectrum about the quality of their .510 cartridges, because I have received brand new cartridges from them that don't work. I told them I would like to return the cartridge for a replacement or refund. They replied asking me a bunch of questions - as though I was trying to rip them off. I sent a reply and asked to have a member of the management contact me to explain why the negative treatment? I also mentioned that I would not purchase from them again, if I didn't hear from their management on this issue. I am 72 years old and will no longer be buying anything from this company. TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!
