Had a scheduled interview that was changed without my notification twice. Through emails, I'm being called a liar and when I gave my specific availability, again they went over my head and made their own choice. I wouldn't recommend attempting the phone screen process or even work for this company. It's disrespectful, disgraceful, and disgusting that they treat applicants this way… I passed on my interview because of this and will be speaking to higher authorities
If I could rate High Tide a zero I absolutely would. They own Canna Cabana, and are responsible for Cabanas outrageous incompetence. and I can only image how many other people went through this clown show.
If Canna Cabana is the storefront, then Hide Tides Inc., its parent company, is the architect of this mess—and both deserve equal blame for the chaos.
I paid for an Elite membership that doesn't work in stores. Four days of silence from technical support. Customer service parroting the same copy-pasted script like a broken chatbot. No refund. No resolution. Just vague promises that "technical support will fix it soon"—three days ago.
And let's talk about that 25% off coupon plastered across their website. If it's not guaranteed, then it's not advertising—it's deception.
That's a direct violation of Canada's Truth in Advertising laws, which prohibit misleading promotions. You don't get to dangle flashy discounts to lure customers in and then shrug when they ask for what they paid for.
This isn't just poor service—it's systemic negligence. Hide Tides can't hide behind the brand. They own it. They profit from it. And they're responsible for the broken promises, the lack of accountability, and the erosion of customer trust.
Do not work here! They pay well, but be ready to be used and abused. I worked for the company for 5 years, and moved all the way up to management. In the beginning with the training program it was amazing 🤩 and I learned all the sales strategies I needed to be successful. However our higher ups within the company care more about expanding stores vs expanding upon their amazing/original! training program, I would not recommend working here.
Amazing!
