How Boveda works: Boveda is based on the scientific principle that certain salts saturated with water will naturally add or remove humidity as needed to maintain a predetermined relative humidity (RH). Boveda invented and patented the method that makes this scientific principle portable and practical for packages and containers.

Each RH level Boveda has developed (32, 49, 58, 62, 65, 69, 72, 75, 84%) responds to ambient temperature and humidity by adding or removing moisture to maintain the predetermined RH printed on the Boveda. There’s no activation or maintenance required and our various sizes means there’s a Boveda perfect for any cannabis storage need.
