The workers at this location are some of the best I've had the pleasure of meeting. This review is not about any of the staff at this location other than Jason the store manager. This person should not hold this position. He is disrespectful he does not listen, and really does not value his customers. His workers do not respect him because of his behaviour. If anyone at trees upper management is reading this you should coach him on how to interact with customers. I will be taking my business elsewhere only because of him. It's too bad because I like everyone else there. I hope someone above Jason reaches out to me so I can explain further. "EDIT" regional manager reached out to me and basically said he us ok with his disrespectful employees and backed their behaviour. AVOID TREES CANNABIS they don't actually value their customers

Today I went to trees on 5th street to buy something new as I was at that mall already (my usual store is bowen road.) I bought a terra labs live resin sap and was happy to go home and try it. I got to my car and checked the product (like always) so if the packaging is messed up I can return it like I have done before without issue. The product was stuck to the lid and the lid won't even fit back on the container. I went right back to return it, and Mckenzie, the customer service rep, said to wait while she reached out to Jason. He then told her not to issue a return and that I had to come back the next day and see him or wait for him to talk to the regional manager. I will not be buying from trees until they make this right. We don't buy from private cannabis stores to get apalling customer service like this. "EDIT" The regional manager reached out to me and denied his workers did anything wrong I strongly recommended you avoid this location I would just avoid trees all together. BC CANNABIS AT COUNTRY CLUB MALL IS WAY BETTER.

This store is not run by nice/reasonable people. I had a friend in there as my town was completely out of what I was looking for so I asked him to swing by on the way through Ladysmith. He called me in the store when about to buy the item. Once they heard me verify what I wanted (After I had called to check it was in stock and notified them someone would be by to pick it up for me) they said they would not sell it as it was for someone else. After I took issue with that they then started saying they needed to see ID my friend is 40 BTW is obviously over 21. He even had other ID like a credit card and gym membership but they did not care. I hope it had nothing to do with the fact he was Indian. I will never be back to this store or the other 2 locations. What appalling service. Wish I could score it less.
