I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the conduct of Ethan, an employee at your store. The interaction my girlfriend experienced during a recent phone call was not merely unprofessional — it was entirely unacceptable for any business that values its reputation or customer trust.
She contacted your store for a simple update on an order placed just two weeks ago. Instead of receiving assistance, she was met with an employee whose demeanor was openly rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. The tone used, the lack of basic courtesy, and the refusal to provide clear information demonstrated a level of behavior that raises serious concerns about your staff training, oversight, and customer service standards.
Incidents like this are not isolated "bad moments." They reflect directly on your brand, internal culture, and management priorities. When a frontline employee speaks to customers in this manner, it communicates that disrespect is tolerated — or worse, normalized — within your organization.
I am documenting this incident in detail. Should issues of staff conduct remain unaddressed, I will have no choice but to elevate this matter to consumer reporting channels and outline the experience publicly so other customers are aware of the service environment your store currently allows.
I expect acknowledgment and follow-up on this matter within a reasonable timeframe.
Very disappointed in the rude and unprofessional experience I had with your staff Ethan
I called your store to cancel an online order last week, I spoke to Ethan last week as well, he said he will call me on Monday of this week to give me an update, I did not hear back
I called your store today to follow up, coincidentally, Ethan picked up, however this time, he is extremely rude, lecturing customers on the phone, cutting me off at every sentence I couldn't even finish speaking, then he continues to hang up on me, clearly frustrated as I have not been treated with respect, i don't think anyone deserves to be treated the way I was on the phone.
Through out his yelling at me, I tried to ask him if the phone calls are recorded because this is not appropriate, he said "yes it is and in Ontario im allowed to refuse you service", he continued to say "I'm working in customer services and get enough attitude". I replied by telling him "I am also at work while making this phone call"which he cut me off and said "that's your problem".
Now is that a rude remark? He said "THATS YOUR PROBLEM"
Is that what the staff should be saying to the paying customers?
I proceeded to ask for the store manager's name "Alex", I wasn't given a direct email or contact number to reach Alex.
I am so extremely disappointed by the behaviour of Ethan, I sincerely hope the phone calls that were made today November 27th at 1:45pm PST will get reviewed and handled appropriately.
