Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I placed an order online for an item clearly listed as in stock. I paid in full, called to confirm, and was told my order was being processed. Only when I was minutes away (I drove from grimsby to Ancaster) from arriving did I receive a phone call saying, "Sorry, our bad — we don't actually have it."
That's not just inconvenient — it's completely unprofessional. Taking payment for something you don't have and then telling a customer to wait 5–7 days for a refund is absolutely unacceptable. You don't get to hold people's money after your own mistake. This was a transaction of over $200
No apology beyond "our bad," no accountability, and no immediate refund. If this is how they manage online sales and customer communication, I'd strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.
Amazing friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love that they carry 1spliff my fav brand. Will be back for sure!
Don't have price match within 10 km then i bring it up and she looks bothered and says id have to get my manager with a smirky face because i save only 3$ then dont promote it teach your employees there employee that work and suppose to do there job not give smirks will never come back to the Ancaster's location it was at 350 pm get better employees
Just as I was getting out of my car, I saw a girl walking in with no problem. But right after her, another customer tried to enter and that's when it got weird.
One of the staff members, rushed to the door and slammed it right in his face. Told him they were "closed" in a rude, condescending tone even though it clearly wasn't 11 yet. The guy looked shocked, and honestly, I was too. She pushed the door back like he was doing something wrong just for trying to come in during posted business hours.
I didn't even bother trying to go in after seeing that. If this is how they treat customers before closing, I can only imagine what the service is like the rest of the day. That kind of attitude is a quick way to lose business. I turned around and left and won't be coming back
Google clearly says this dispensary closes at 11pm, yet my boyfriend arrived at 10:47pm well within business hours and was denied entry by a staff member who clearly couldn't be bothered to do her job for 13 more minutes. A girl in front of him was let in without issue. But when he tried to follow, some employee (a girl with glasses) slammed the door shut in his face She told him they were "closed" in the most unnecessarily rude, condescending tone imaginable and then physically pushed the door back on him like he was the problem.
If the goal is to drive away paying customers with attitude and power-tripping behavior, congrats mission accomplished. This place clearly doesn't respect your time or your business. We won't be returning, and I'd recommend others steer clear unless you're into getting attitude and door-checked for trying to shop during posted hours.
