Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Was refused entry today to this store despite being a customer there for almost a year. My ID was expired but I had my renewal slip as my id is delayed due to the Canada post strike. Was told that their management/regional manager (someone higher up) told them the renewal slips aren't valid despite being government issued apparently and due to their confusion on AGLC ID requirements they've lost my business entirely. This also coming after I've purchased cannabis from this store multiple times without ever being ID'd in the first place which I know isn't proper practice in the first place.

This location has incredible staff. I've been going to Canna Cabanas 114 street location, in downtown Edmonton for 3-ish years.
Whenever I purchase cannabis products from a place that's new to me, I ask for employee suggestions, based upon a combination of my needs, and asking what products they've been using personally, and in this way I ascertain their knowledge of cannabis products.
Rarely, in some other non Canna Cabana stores have tried to upsell me premium items that didn't really suit my needs, other times I've encountered aloof, snobby staff, or complacent staff.
The 114 street Cabana Cabana is the diametric opposite of those places mentioned previously.
Every time I have asked for a staff member to suggest products, they are able to direct me to with precision, to the exactly what I wanted.
The staff members, regardless of arbitrary factors, are rad. They are kind and intelligent people who listen to the needs of their customers.
Whatever they're getting paid, it's not enough!
I actually hate going anywhere else for cannabis, if I'm being honest.
One of the best cannabis stores in Edmonton, and my favourite, hands down.

Stuck up. Rude. Used to be a regular. Will never come back. Go back to old ways and old managment where you respected your regulars. Terrible shop. Not knowledgeable about products. Get your kush somewhere else.
Great staff, helpful. I also like the booklet menus. I come here for the ease of grabbing a binder with a list and picking what I want. They even have multiple available for when it gets busy. Basic. Simple. Elegant.
Love it here the prices are good and employees are very nice and knowledgeable
