Today, I visited Value Buds to purchase my usual 2x1G pre-rolls by Thumbs Up. It seems that Value Buds has hired a new staff member, and respectfully, she seemed unfamiliar with the products. When I asked her which strain of Thumbs Up had the highest THC percentage, she responded with "what?" twice. I clarified that any strain, Indica, hybrid, or Sativa, would be fine as long as it had a high THC percentage, and my budget was $10.00 for > 2x1g pre-rolls. She consulted with her manager/supervisor, but I still think she was confused. In the end, she ended up giving me Sour OG by Broken Coast for $8-9, which was 0.5g. 😂😂 All I was told by her was the amount of THC percentage in the pre roll assuming she understood I wanted 2x1g pre rolls. I was in a rush to catch the bus on time because I had to make it to the train to head downtown for work so I didn't check until I made it to the train platform, ripped the sticker off and seen it's just a 0.5G pre roll 😂.
I've never had an issue at Value Buds before; they've always provided good energy with amazing customer service. However, today was really off-putting. I had no issues, but I hope she learns from this experience because maybe she was having a bad day or something. Who knows, but it's all good. Have a great day!
