Today, I visited Value Buds to purchase my usual 2x1G pre-rolls by Thumbs Up. It seems that Value Buds has hired a new staff member, and respectfully, she seemed unfamiliar with the products. When I asked her which strain of Thumbs Up had the highest THC percentage, she responded with "what?" twice. I clarified that any strain, Indica, hybrid, or Sativa, would be fine as long as it had a high THC percentage, and my budget was $10.00 for > 2x1g pre-rolls. She consulted with her manager/supervisor, but I still think she was confused. In the end, she ended up giving me Sour OG by Broken Coast for $8-9, which was 0.5g. 😂😂 All I was told by her was the amount of THC percentage in the pre roll assuming she understood I wanted 2x1g pre rolls. I was in a rush to catch the bus on time because I had to make it to the train to head downtown for work so I didn't check until I made it to the train platform, ripped the sticker off and seen it's just a 0.5G pre roll 😂. I've never had an issue at Value Buds before; they've always provided good energy with amazing customer service. However, today was really off-putting. I had no issues, but I hope she learns from this experience because maybe she was having a bad day or something. Who knows, but it's all good. Have a great day! - BIG SLATT BIG WLATTTT 🐍

New review: Ive probably come here around 100 times since opening. Staff is generally pleasant and efficient. Almost never any issues except that they are often out of the best merchandise or do not carry it at this location. I do a lot of research before choosing a product and read many reviews(reddit). This location is usually out of stock on the best reviewed items. But I do understand it as hands down they have the cheapest prices on all products compared to every other dispensary within 20 mins My only recommendation would be to keep more stock on very popular items. This is the closest dispensary to me but i often have to go somewhere else because theyre out of stock Cart brands they are often out of stock on: Tribal, Purple Hills, Nugz etc. Also id just like to say, a lot of the one star reviews are simply retarded. I come here so much theres never any problem. The staff are kind and helpful. I definitely think the staff they have is much more knowledgeable now than when they opened. Shout out to all the employees you guys are pretty chill Old review: 1 star New guy in dreads is incredibly rude. He makes me not want to come here anymore. Ive been coming here at least once a week since opening. Hes cashed me out a few times and there is always an issue. He was literally whispering when i came in today. No complaints on customer service whatsoever. My one complaint as a franchise business, is their time management. They hired a new girl recently and she is extremely helpful, to the point where there's customers waiting. To be helped at the desk and people outside. I get her intent, but she could help whoever has questions at the desk to order. Not upon entry. As a discounted cannabis retailer, high traffic is expected in this area. And time management should be treated as a priority. That's just my opinion as a consumer! Love their products and like I said customer service is always the best 👌🏼
