Edit: Truthfully, I was born and raised in this neighborhood. I had spent umpteen hours in the hockey shop that existed prior. After so many years, meeting guys like Dallas and Robbie give me that sense of community back.

I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH ANY OTHER EMPLOYEE..I hate to write bad reviews in places but here i am. I had an unpleasant encounter with one your your workers "jolene" this evening. My boyfriend and i came to the store like we usually do to buy a pre roll to end our night. Before FULLY ENTERING the store i checked for my id and noticed i didnt have it and turned around and went back to the truck which normally has been fine when has happened in the past. My boyfriend proceeded to go in since he had his and was refused service because i had to turn around and go back to the truck..i went to ask for her name so i can write this review and talk to the manager. She tried to tell me i entered the store when i had not and dont care if she calls her manager because i know shes wrong..Please inform your employees that ID is taken for people that have ACTUALLY ENTERED THE STORE and let them know they cannot lose a licence for someone that hasnt entered yet..refusing service to LEGAL and PAYING customers is wrong. I have no problem reporting the times they dont ID if this is how the employees want to be with customers edit to add to your dumb reply.. (IF YOU CAN READ) YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY ENTER THE STORE. FAILURE TO PRODUCE AND ID MEANS YOU CAN GET KICKED OUT OF THE STORE.. NOT BEFORE THEYVE ENETERED OR EVEN ASKED FOR ONE THANKS. I will make sure the aglc inspectors are watching you closely.. I AM FULLY AWARE of how AGLC guidelines work
This store has the best staff, Dallas is the guy to see. He has the best recommendations and keeps the selection current with fresh drops and high %'s.
The menu is specially curated with lots of locally grown and craft products. Making the menu special compared to the chain stores that have the same products. Everyone who works here is highly knowledgeable, and friendly. 15/10 one of my favourite independents. Makes me enjoy coming into the store to buy cannabis, not just a transaction but a reminder of what cannabis culture is all about.
