I've been coming to this location for a few years now because the prices and products are usually solid. But lately, the customer service hasn't been the same.
Some of the staff just don't seem interested in helping — one girl with black and white hair acts like it's a chore to answer questions, and I've overheard another guy (Braden, I think) talking badly about management right in front of customers, which felt pretty unprofessional. I've also had a few recommendations that were the complete opposite of what I asked for, which is frustrating when you're being specific about what you like.
That said, I've always had great experiences when Catherine is working. She actually listens, remembers what I like, and always has solid suggestions lined up. I feel like she genuinely enjoys helping people, and it makes a big difference. If more of the team had her attitude and product knowledge, the vibe would definitely be better overall.
Now I usually just stop by when I know she's in — it's the only time I feel confident I'll leave happy with what I got.
Normally a great place to visit but today's customer service not a fun one. I still highly recommend this place for the product selection but today I felt my questions were bothering the person that's supposed to be helping me. The whole thing ended with me telling her I'll google it ,it's fine then left. Returned the product got my money back.again STILL recommend the place just don't ask to many questions!
Hands down the best dispensary in Barrie. They always offer the best selection, with the best prices to match. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Their service is truly top notch. My husband and I always compare prices and selection online, and nowhere can beat Budsforless. Would recommend time and time again.

Went in to purchase a few 510s and 8th's of high end flower as I always do. I used a pre paid credit card to pay part of the amount. The budtender kept telling me it was being declined (although didn't provide any declined receipts), which was surprising as I've just received it. When I went to check the balance of the card that evening and found 6 pending transactions (see image below) I called the store immediately to discuss rectifying this issue and I was assured the money would be credited back to the card that evening. I waited 7 days for the payment to be reversed but alas still nothing. I spoke to the manager Catherine on day 7, as she surely could dig into the issue and she knows these operating terminals, but all I received from her was generic customer service verbiage "I appreciate your frustration, but there is nothing I can do" . You have done nothing but directed me to Mastercard ( way to wash your hands of the problem, this is customer service at its finest) when I told her that's how street drug dealers operate ( every drug dealer movie cliche, takes your money and says "what money" playing ignorant) she told me she is triggered and I'm being abusive. You have stolen from me, maybe not intentionally but definitely through ignorance and lack of training on processing different payment methods. Just a heads up. I was sold a half ounce of Woody Nelson Country Club Blue gumdrops because their employee kept pushing and uptalking it.
It's the worst hybrid I've had in years. After asking, I was told by the employee that it was an indica, and it's not. It's a sativa dominant hybrid.
Again, just a heads up, it's $110 after taxes and boasts 31% & 4.5% terps, but it's really weak effects and kind of garbage for the $ they took. My GMO cookies at 31% & 3.5% terps is sooooo much better in every way and cost under $70.
