Unprofessional waitress was upset my toddler left a mess and I didn't leave a tip they called me rude I tried to leave a complaint with the manager and their excuse was "I pick up after my child" and "would you do this in someone else's kitchen" first of all, excuse me this is a restaurant a supposedly professional establishment second of all you make 15.80 minimum wage. You should pick the egg off the floor and not complain I worked as a waitress for 8 years when 15.80 was not minimum wage and not once did I complain to anyone let alone a customer I have contacted the labor bored to see if everyone there is being paid fairly because there is no reason for this poor of a customer service or this unprofessionalism I have also contacted the CRA in hopes of an audit as they are a fairly large establishment. They should have more than enough money to pay their workers fairly instead of them demanding a tip just for having to clean. When I did in fact stack my own family's dishes and put away my toddlers high chair, do they expect me to do their whole job for them? I have also lodged a complaint with the better Business bureau so hopefully Barb or Mike sees this review and gets their crap together
I have gone to MTT for 35+ years. I can say I always vouched that their poutine was the best I've had in Manitoba up until this year. Firstly the fries are no longer the same. It seems like they are not homemade anymore and seem to be from frozen (I'm not sure though) but they sure have lost the quality. A couple years ago all the prices significantly increased going from like $4 something to $10 or so but the amount of food never changed. Today it's only a side before it would be an entire meal. Today I noticed how much tinier and less packed the plate is. I swear it was about 4x larger in the past and I have no idea when the small size came into play. The size is now the length of a fork and not even stacked it's about 2 layers I got. I am so disappointed and all of the people out there I know have also warned me about the quality and quantity. They will be losing more business this year. I did finish it but as I said it was not as good, is not longer top poutine on my list and I definitely needed to stop somewhere else as I thought it would be a full meal. I'm surprised Mike the owner let this happen but I guess if you make money it doesn't matter to have people that have always been faithful to the company.
Great snacks for the road, tons of options for drinks and stuff you need and their fuel is usually lower than most of the city
This is my only stop going to and coming home from the city! Clean bathrooms!
Best Denver's! Best ice cream! Poutines!
I went there today and had a burger. I think it was made by Jodi? My burger was raw inside. Do you know how sick that can make someone? I was already miles away when I noticed. Maybe someone can teach Jodi how to cook….
