Gage Cannabis Co. is a premium adult-use cannabis retailer in Ayer, Massachusetts with a mission to provide customers with a diverse selection of the best cannabis and cannabis-infused products available in Massachusetts. As a locally owned and operated company, Gage strives to do this in a manner that is respectful of the community, its staff, its customers, and the plant itself.
The name Gage pays homage to a nickname for cannabis used in the jazz community of the early 1900’s. During this time, cannabis was commonly used in over-the-counter medicines and industrial applications as it had not yet been dubbed a “weed from the devil’s garden” by the decades of propaganda that would soon come. We aim to capture this point in time where cannabis use was widely accepted, because as Louis Armstrong put it, “Gage ain’t nothing but medicine.”

I've been to three other dispensaries and this one was by far the most pleasant to walk into. The size of the place was amazing and the decor was beautiful! The employees were wonderful as well.
I used to come here everytime I wanted to buy weed. In the last year the quality control has dramatically decreased to the point where I have to say this is the last time I will buy flower from here. I really hate when I pay for premium flower and they short me on the amount. Great selection with very nice people. Im just tired of not getting what I pay for... Id give 2 stars but I dont want to come off as hurt or bitter. I have given my business to this company since 2021. Cmon guys :/

Certain vape cartridges always seem to be missing product. Always the carts with packaging that can be opened without notice, aka the crude carts. Not sure if it's sent that way or if it's the dispensary. But the ones I buy, that are completely sealed, are always full. 🤷🏻♂️ not that I expect a dispensary or any business in this world to man up and admit bad practices these days.
I just made a quick Friday night trip to grab some pre-rolls to Gage for the first time. I recently moved here from Chicago and wasn't sure if I'd be able to bring my pup Brutus in with me. Ashton greeted us at the window with the best energy I've felt in a long time. They were so welcoming, friendly, and so accepting of Brutus coming in with me. We talked for a few and then we went in to be greeted by Cody & Seth who had such welcoming energy as well. I loved the aesthetic, the variety of products on display, the merch, as well as the extensive menu! While I browsed the options, Seth asked if he could come out and say hi to Brutus who absolutely fell in love with him. My first purchase with Gage was small but I will absolutely be back soon to purchase more. Brutus and I have definitely found our dispo and I am so grateful for the awesome vibes! Thank you Ashton, Cody and Seth for making this first trip one of many more to come. Gage, you have some amazing humans working for you, keep it up!
