I'll begin by saying it makes no sense to tell clients to order ahead of time online to save time, but you still have to wait in line anyways! I've seen actual signs in SQDC stores saying "skip the line, order online", but when I asked about it today the person just shrugged and said she didn't make the rules and people would freak out if they let people go ahead to pick up their orders.. So today, after ordering earlier in the day and after waiting in line for 15 minutes, they say they cannot find my order in the system. It should have been prepared within an hour as per the site, and I came 1.5 hours later and it still wasn't ready. I then waited another 5-10 minutes at the counter while people ran around only for them to come to me to say they can't find it and want me to pay for a new order again. There's no way to cancel my payment because it takes a few days to register online, so what, I'm supposed to pay twice and hope they don't get both payments? Just awful service. I'll make sure to never order for in-store pickup again particularly at this store, it's absolutely useless, and I'll only go to the stores in my area that I know are reliable from now on. In total I was stuck there 35 minutes.
On a positive note, I will say the second person who helped me was very nice and did everything he could even though I was at that point in an absolutely rotten mood (I worked a 10 hour shift prior and the first person I spoke with I found quite rude). He managed to call .. |
