Only when I was minutes away (I drove from grimsby to Ancaster) from arriving did I receive a phone call saying, "Sorry, our bad — we don't actually have it."
That's not just inconvenient — it's completely unprofessional. Taking payment for something you don't have and then telling a customer to wait 5–7 days for a refund is absolutely unacceptable. You don't get to hold people's money after your own mistake. This was a transaction of over $200
No apology beyond "our bad," no accountability, and no immediate refund. If this is how they manage online sales and customer communication, I'd strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. |
