I'm writing this to share how disappointed I am with how my husband was treated at The Oz Store on Somerset. He brought up a valid and respectful concern about someone blocking the parking lot and instead of being heard, he was yelled at by a customer and then dismissed by the staff like he was the problem.
It's not hard to acknowledge when someone has a point, especially when it affects other paying customers trying to access the store. But instead of showing any professionalism, the staff jumped to shut him down, clearly more concerned with avoiding "drama" than addressing the issue.
Let me be clear: my husband didn't yell, didn't escalate, and didn't come in looking for a fight. He spoke up and that alone was apparently enough to be treated like a nuisance.
This store has loyal customers who come back regularly. But loyalty doesn't mean silence. If this is how you handle simple feedback, maybe it's time someone higher up takes a long look at the way customers are being treated. This wasn't just a bad moment, it showed what the culture here is really like when things aren't convenient for the staff. |
