| I stopped by the shop on Saturday afternoon. Great selection, but really terrible service.
From the moment I walked in, the person working was rushing me to make a purchase. I came wanting to peruse the (extensive!) menu (and explained as much) and the entire time that I was reading through it, the worker was staring at me and sighing loudly, literally every thirty seconds. I finally asked him if he was in a hurry to get somewhere, and he answered "I just want to eat my lunch before the rush. (What kind of rush exactly do you get at 2pm on a Saturday??)"
I looked at the menu for another minute, but the huffing and puffing continued and I left without buying anything because the worker's annoyed staring, sighing, and unwelcoming vibe made me too uncomfortable and irritated.
To be clear, I was in the shop for maybe 10 minutes. The store had a bunch of great stock from Simply Bare, Florist, Carmel, etc., at reasonable prices and I was trying to narrow down the choices.
This was the worst customer service I've experienced at a cannabis store to date. I usually go to the Calgary Parkdale location and have always had a good experience there, but was visiting Okotoks for an event and thought I would check out this location.
Hopefully this worker can get some more training on good customer service and hospitality to better represent the business in the future. |
