| I tried to visit here today to stock up and was looking to spend a pretty penny....
Instead I was asked to leave the store as I had a small electric scooter with me. There was no suggestion to put it somewhere safe, compromise to put it off to the side etc. I have never had a cannabis store turn me away for any reason, let alone this reason. I am very in control of my scooter and to put it into perspective I went to a florist directly after which was filled with vases and other delicate glassware and the shop owner had zero complaints about my scooter...
In our expensive world, not everyone can afford a car, or even regular monthly transit passes so scooters and bikes make transportation easy for many low and middle income individuals. As there was no safe space outside to lock up my scooter and they never even suggested such only asked me to leave, I feel this now borders on elitist behaviour especially when it limits access to medicine for those of us that need it.
It's 2025, do better. |
