| We are repeat customers to Canna Cabana in their recently opened store on 85 street. Until tonight we have always had excellent service. Tonight we rocked up to locked doors and having to show ID to a camera on the door. Apparently they were robbed a week ago and have implemented this DRACONION way of security. To add insult to injury, they do NOT accept digital id eg a drivers license on iPhone. I got in with my hard copy drivers license but my colleague with the digital id could not. Then we were left dealing with a prissy young male store manager who was far more interested in treating us like potential criminals, and making sure WE adhered to their new rules than using a bit of common sense. My colleague stood inside the door while I went looking for the products so I could ask him if it was the right one for about 30 seconds before he was ordered out of the store. ALL because he had a digital id which is the norm for professionals in this part of Calgary. It would have made the situation SO MUCH BETTER had the manager accepted the digital ID (we're both seniors so no age concerns) and at least let my colleague stand just inside the door vs banishing him to the cold outside! GROW A BRAIN Canna Cabana! While I empathise with taking more stringent security measures because of the robbery, this was complete overkill and the manager was absolute crap in handling the situation. We will never shop in any of their stores again and I have just spent the past couple .. | ||
