I've been a customer of Red Star since 2022 and have really enjoyed the experience. I have met and built great relationships with bud tenders who all have great customer service. At this dispensary the majority of the staff are well educated and use the products they sell, so it's easy to get information on the products when you inquire. I also think is very refreshing that the majority of the staff are women which is not very common in this industry which is great! They always have a wide variety of options, most of which are of great quality from recognizable brands that people love. Their prices are fair given the location and customer experience they provide. If you're looking for bargain products then this might not be the location for you. Friday evenings in the summer is one of my favourite times to visit and hang out with the staff and other regular customers. Special thanks to Lisa, Rosie, Antoinette & Alyssa. They always make sure if a product I'm looking for isn't in stock, that it is ordered for me and ready for pick up on the next order day.

I was over at Shawarma Corner grabbing a bite to eat. I decided to walk over to value buds to check for something I wanted from the loud plug. As I got closer to the store I noticed that two employees were out side, one was sitting the other was standing. Both of the employees were looking at their phones not talking so I assumed they were waiting for an Uber after their shift change. I walked right up the the door and pulled it to go inside but it was locked. The employee sitting at the door emerged from out of her phone and said "it's closed". I looked at her then continued to look at the store hours to figure out why. As the confusion continued she then finally decided to tell me there's a tiny sign on the door that hardly legible that explains the power is out. I asked her why she didn't just say so before I got to the door and her response was she told me three times that the power is out. I then told her that I came to buy some product and to not to spoken to like I'm interrupting her phone time. I'm very happy the power was out because customers shouldn't be spoken to in that manner. I would not want to spend money here after that experience
