The Oz Store, Ottawa ON |

I've been a regular at Oz Store for a while and generally really like the place — good selection, competitive prices, and usually a smooth experience.
That said, one thing has been consistently frustrating: they're one of the few stores in the city that show THC ranges (e.g., 20–30%) instead of the exact THC percentage. It makes it harder to know what I'm actually buying, especially when a 10% difference can be significant for some people.
On top of that, it feels a bit awkward when you ask staff for products within a specific THC range — they often seem bothered since they have to go check. I get that it might be a hassle, but most other shops have updated their systems so customers (and staff) don't have to deal with this.
I've loved coming here, but if they're too reluctant to update THC info like other places, I might start shopping elsewhere — not because the store is bad, but because I'd rather have clear info and not feel like I'm inconveniencing anyone.

Chrontact Cannabis, Ottawa ON |
|
Chrontact has always stood out for its prime location and streamlined in-store experience. Historically, their products ran a few dollars above average, but the ease of popping in, finding what you need, and checking out in minutes made that small premium easy to swallow.
Lately, however, I've noticed their prices have jumped substantially—now hovering around 30% higher than nearby dispensaries carrying comparable flower, edibles, and concentrates. At that point, the convenience factor alone starts to feel outweighed by the added cost. If you prize speed and consistent stock, Chrontact still delivers; but if you're looking to stretch your budget, you'll find better value just a few blocks away.
[Edit after owner response:]
Just to clarify—I was definitely not paid to write this review. I've personally spent hundreds of dollars at Chrontact over the years and wanted to share an honest comparison based on recent shopping experiences. It's disappointing to be accused of slander simply for pointing out a noticeable price gap. Chrontact is charging $30–$50 more per ounce than shops like The OZ Store, for comparable products. I stand by my review—and frankly, this kind of aggressive response from ownership only reinforces why some customers might start looking elsewhere.
