Never shopping here again. There's definite training that needs to be done at this location in regards to what is and isn't acceptable ID. My partner went into the store today with a BIRTH CERTIFICATE and a PASSPORT. Which are both legally acceptable identification and absolutely no establishment requiring to see ID will dispute that EXCEPT THIS ONE. This is the second time this has happened. Same lady with glasses also disputed my second form of ID which was a government issued employee ID with my photo and name on it (My first was my drivers license) it's either awful training to begin with, or it's this specific employee.
This establishment needs to review the acceptable forms of Identification by provincial law, and get their act together. This is ridiculous. Being told "it's too easy to fake a birth certificate" is insulting and completely ridiculous.
