This was my go to place to go to until a few days ago. I will start out with I am 45 years old. No way do I look young enough to not be able to purchase here. Also, for more background information, I have an elite membership, my birthday was in Sept and my license expired, which I went in and renewed at a registry. It was only approx. 2 weeks after my license expired when this incident happened. I went in and there was an employee I hadn't seen in there before, I told him everything I wanted and he went around collecting it for me. Then when checking out before even asking for my phone number he asked for my ID. No big deal, I take it as a compliment. I showed him my ID and he said it was expired. I also showed him the piece of paper that the registry gave me to show that I've renewed it. He said he could not accept it, even though I was told at the registry that my old license is my proof of identity until my new one came in the mail. With the mail strike, my new driver's license isn't coming anytime soon. He refused sale to me, I was extremely upset over this. I drove to a different Canna Cabana where I got the stuff I wanted without even being asked for my ID (because I'm 45!!) I was old enough to be this "kid's" mom. I've never experienced such embarrassment when trying to purchase from a store.
