| This location is convenient and typically friendly. However, when I went in looking for a replacement bowl yesterday evening on June 12th the only options available were way above my budget. Having broken several bowls in my time I cannot rationalize spending $50-$100 on a beautifully crafted bowl. The one male attendant suggested another store and I expressed my displeasure of having to go somewhere else as this location usually has everything I need. I was not rude about it and even said thank you. However, when I was on my way out the door I clearly heard the female attendant say to me cowardly from across the store, "Have a great day being a dick!" I was appalled that they would use this language on a regular customer and surprised that the management allows this behaviour. I probably won't return to this location as I don't feel they appreciate my business there now. As well there are a multitude of other stores in the area that are friendly to all their customers even if they can't afford their most expensive wares. I was able to procure a bowl at the suggested alternative (Hasty Market) for a reasonable price which was substantially lower than Garden City's costs. | ||
