This Is Cannabis, Whistler BC
I usually have a great experience at this store — in fact, this is my second year visiting from New York (3rd time in 3 days this visit), and it's always been my go-to dispensary in Whistler Village because of its convenience and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, this time was very different, and I feel compelled to share what happened so management is aware. On, April 13th, I had been waiting patiently in line after the customer ahead of me. While I waited, two other customers (two women) walked in after me. The customer ahead of me was taking some time to decide on payment, which is understandable. However, as soon as they finished, the employee (who told me his name was KYLE) completely skipped over me and went straight to serving the two women who had just arrived. I calmly let KYLE know that I had been waiting and that I was next in line. Without raising my voice or being confrontational, I simply tried to clarify the order of service. Shockingly, he interrupted me and asked, "Why are you making such a fuss?" — a completely unwarranted response. To make matters worse, even the two women acknowledged I was next and told him so directly. Despite this, KYLE dismissed us by saying (and I quote), "Yeah, but it looks like you girls are in a rush." What truly escalated the situation, however, was that when I asked for his name to report the incident, Kyle threatened to call the police on me.
