Today around 6 PM, I had one of the most rude and humiliating customer service experiences I've ever encountered. I approached the cashier, a dark-skinned woman, and asked for product recommendations as I was feeling genuinely unsure about the options. When I noticed the item she suggested had a higher CBD percentage than I was looking for, I politely asked if she could show me something more in line with what I had seen earlier while browsing.
At that point, I felt so uncomfortable that I simply agreed to purchase what she showed me, just to end the interaction. As I was completing the transaction, she said to me:
"You clearly knew what you wanted, don't ever ask for recommendations if you already know it."
I was shocked and hurt. Even if she was having a bad day, there's no excuse for that level of dismissiveness and hostility toward a customer simply asking for help. I walked away feeling deeply disrespected and uncomfortable.
This experience has left such a negative impression that I won't be returning to this store again.
