Utterly Disappointing and Unprofessional
I've been a loyal customer of this dispensary for three years, coming in almost daily because of the staff nature and the good vibes and the kindness always and it's been family.
For the first six months, I was ID'd regularly, but after that, the staff clearly recognized me as a regular and stopped asking—until tonight.
The manager working tonight, who has ID'd me in the past and then never has done ever again until tonight, suddenly decided to enforce ID checks after years of ignoring the policy although had mine just in the car and I don't mind the policy and I know it's the business law it's just how it all came out. When I pointed out the inconsistency, I was met with excuses and no accountability. To make matters worse, the new worker, who has served me multiple times over the past two weeks without ever asking for ID, decided out of nowhere to ask me today. This sudden enforcement seemed to happen just because I came in with another regular they've seen me with before. It was awkward, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.
To add insult to injury, the third staff member—who always sees me—stood there silently, offering no clarity or support. How does a team function like this? There's zero communication, no proper training, and absolutely no consistency in how they enforce their policies.
What's most infuriating is the hypocrisy. If you're going to ID regulars, do it every single time for everyone. Don't call s ..
