Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Amazing staff and selection. The team consistently goes above and beyond for their customers and handles situations professionally and respectfully.
It's unfortunate to see a recent review criticizing the store for enforcing the law. Cannabis retailers are legally prohibited from allowing minors to enter — even just inside the door. That's not a corporate preference; it's legislation. Expecting staff to risk fines, penalties, or their license because of personal circumstances is unreasonable.
From what was described, it sounds like the employees actually tried to accommodate the situation within legal limits, which speaks volumes about their customer service. Holding them accountable for following the law simply isn't fair.
Great business. Great staff. They deserve recognition, not backlash for doing their jobs properly.
First time visiting this store. Tried to make a purchase online, website didn't work. Called and spoke to an employee, explained I was on a walk and had my child/stroller with me (which I knew was not allowed to go into the actual dispensary), asked if this was a problem they explained that they'd just have someone stand with my kiddo while I went to the register. I've had other dispensary do the same or meet me at the door with my items. All that sounded good. I arrive, call the store to let them know we've arrived, they send an employee back to meet us, said employee then tells me I can go into the store but my child has to wait outside. My child is two. They clarified that they'd would stay outside with my child while I was in the store. Like the expectation was I was going to leave my two year old with a complete stranger being paid minimum wage, outside, where I can't see or hear them?? Isn't the entire point of the giant wall at the front of the store to prevent minors from being influenced by anything in the store? There is no law that says my child has to wait outside the store and cannot remain behind the partition wall. I asked the employee these same questions and I just got the same response, this is our policy blah blah blah.
I've never heard of this happening and never had the experience with any other dispensary. Disappointing to say the least.
Such a chill atmosphere, friendly and knowledgable staff. Wide variety and selection of bud, elite membership is well worth it; the best value in the city. Shout out to Michelle, she has always gone above and beyond to accommodate my partner and I.
The employees here are absolutely outstanding! Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I've never walked out of here upset or disappointed, and sometimes I even get lucky and get a free sticker! :3
Rushed here from 30 minutes away and made it at 10:54, only to find the door to be locked. Whoever is the manager at this location should ensure their employees stay opened until the sign states. Being an elite member I'm extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this location.
