Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

This location has become one of my favorite dispos because of their good selection and mainly incredible staff. Alex and Dev in particular are absolutely incredible with their reccomendations, product knowledge, and customer service in general. They're both wonderful and joyous people to talk to and I keep coming back just because of them.
I've been shopping at this location since it opened, but been a loyal Canna Cabana customer since 2021 after visiting my first location in Calgary. This location has poor customer service, and more often than not they are out of stock, shelves empty or not even organized or labeled so you know what you're looking for.
Monday May 4th, was my last and final time shopping at this location and Canna Cabana as a brand. There is a woman who was working there, early morning around opening time. She seems to pick and choose random days when asking for ID. Now I can understand asking a minor looking individual for ID, but I am in my 40s, yet im still being asked for ID, by this one particular server. Sometimes she asks, other times she doesn't. She NEVER actually checks the ID, so I'm curious what it is shes really asking for. Her attitude is terrible, she does not let you feel welcome there, and the next time she decides to ask for ID, she needs to check your DOB amd verbally inform you, otherwise shes not checking anything and just hassling you unnecessarily. We aren't children going in to shop, we are grown adults, and I'm probably older than her even though she looks 10 years older than me.
The quality of service at this location has drastically gone down and continues to plummet, not all but some of the staff have really bad attitudes, not very knowledgeable about their products other than reading the label to you, and the one thing above all which is most annoying is ..
Today I went in and spent over $200. However there was an issue on the bill. I called and asked for a refund. Being from the USA, I was able to physically go there. Kinga, the manager was really great with communicating and I was able to still get my refund in cash! I really appreciate the excellent customer service. If I do ever stop in Mississauga, I am definitely stopping by! Thanks again!
Great experience at Canna Cabana! Lacey provided amazing service and was super friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and gave really solid recommendations. Everything she suggested ended up being exactly what I needed. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping customers. I'll definitely be coming back!
I was in a pinch for time today and popped into this location that I have never been into. WOW! I had a fantastic experience and gained knowledge. Many thanks to J and Surette who have so much product knowledge, gave me excellent advice and walked out with a new choice for myself, I love it and will continue to buy this. Keep up the great professional work. In and out just like I needed, wonderful efficiency you guys!
