I've had several disappointing experiences at this store, mostly due to one staff member who is consistently unprofessional and rude. The Native girl who works there has no sense of customer service — she's abrasive, dismissive, and lacks product knowledge. She's sold me the wrong product before, and when I tried to politely point it out, she responded with nothing but attitude. There's no friendly greeting when you walk in, just a cold "Can I see your ID?" — no "hello," no "how are you," nothing that makes customers feel welcome. It's unfortunate because I used to enjoy coming here, but her behavior completely ruins the experience. This location seriously needs to address customer service training.

I used to think this place was fine, despite the rumours of unkind staff because I never had a bad experience. I recently went with a friend who has a brain injury and when he gets a bit tired, he can start to slur, but he walks straight and his eyes are not glassy. You would not believe how holier-than-thou and rude the cashiers were to us. For shame! Just because it's downtown, not everybody who comes through is impaired on drugs and alcohol just because their speech is not clear. I was absolutely disgusted. I personally have never had trouble, but the way staff treated me when my friend and I went there was deplorable. Please train your staff in basic customer service. So gross.

Kind staff always there to help with a smile on their face. Many well educated conversations with up to date knowledge in their business field and bonus that my pup always has a fresh bowl of water, a head scratch and a treat waiting when we go on our strolls. It's truly appreciated.
