You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!
Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I absolutely love this location. The staff there are incredible. They're great to deal with. They're very kind and ready to help you with whatever you need right away. I've never had any real problems with anything the Blackfalds location its all been fantastic up until recently where one of their new older gentlemen that they have working for them that has served me multiple times now decides he wants to see my ID and wanted to make me go back to my vehicle to get it (I'm 40 btw). So unfortunately I don't appreciate that very much and I will go to other places when I see him working in the store. I apologize to the rest of you. You are all great. Thank you very much. I appreciate the rest of you.
I am not very well versed in strains, and asked Taryn for help. She was knowledgeable and the vape she sold me was amazing and exactly the kind of experience I was looking for. 😊
The staff here are outstanding—always friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on customer satisfaction. You can tell they take pride in their work and care about every guest's experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the customers themselves add to the positive energy. One of my favorite things about this place is that you can actually see the product , not just read it off a menu. It creates a sense of trust and connection that makes each visit enjoyable.
Phenomenal experience at the Blackfalds location, great layout of products and displays, amazing staff unfortunately I wasn't able to get the gentleman's name who assisted me in my endeavors lastnight. But all I have to say about him is the best and most educated bud tender I've met. Super informative on all his mercendise very incitefull on recommendations based on what you're looking for in products. Even talked me into the elite program witch I have no regret in joining. Find the guy with a big smile and grey beard he's the santa of dispensary's.
Usually I like my experiences at Canna Cabana stores, but not this past Sunday at the Blackfalds location sadly.
I came into the store early afternoon, and there were a lot of customers. I thought the poor employee running off her feet helping everyone was all alone so I was being patient. However what really upset me was there was a 2nd employee, but she decided to appear after the rush was pretty much over, and when she did come out she didn't even help any remaining customers.... It was very unprofessional, and it made the wait a lot longer then it needed to be. I was hesitant to post this, but the experience was frustrating enough that I felt it necessary to leave this review.
